How much does a website cost?

Whatever you say. Then we’ll sigh and tell you the real price.

A business-card site starts at $160, a site that sells at $500, an online shop at $3,000. If someone quoted you less, check whether the site itself is included in the price. We name the exact price before the work, not after. Even we were surprised that this is possible.

How long does it take to build a website?

Almost done. Only small things left.

A business-card site takes 5⁠–⁠14 days, a one-page site 2⁠–⁠4 weeks, an online shop 2⁠–⁠4 months. We wait longest for your copy and photos. We are very patient: sometimes we wait so long that the copy goes out of date.

Can a website be built in a day, or in three?

Yes. Ask what exactly will be ready.

A cheap one-day website is real: a one-page site on a ready-made base takes 1⁠–⁠3 days if the copy and photos are there from the start. By evening it will be 99% ready. The remaining percent we discuss separately, and for a long time.

Can I order a website for $99?

Yes. Ordering is possible. Receiving is a separate question.

For that money you get a ready-made template with your logo, as a website builder would give you: no custom design, copy or support. It is enough for a business card on the web, not enough for sales. What the price includes is in the price tags above; what it doesn’t, in the contract. Website builder or agency? A builder gives you a template, an agency gives you a site made to order. The price tag decides which one you get.

What do you need from me?

Copy, photos, a logo and a reply to our message. Especially a reply to our message.

Answer the questionnaire, send the materials, approve the stages quickly and accept the site against the checklist in the contract. “I’ll send it on WhatsApp in the next few days” counts as a separate deadline: for us, “the next few days” means roughly until 2027.

Whose website will it be?

Yours. We only hold the pencil.

The site, its address and its content belong to you: the rights are transferred by contract, and the domain and hosting logins are registered to you, not to the studio. Check this before you pay. Studios that answer “why do you need the logins?” are not us.

Do you guarantee first place in search?

Of course. You saw the certificate.

Honestly, nobody can guarantee a place on Google: search engines decide for themselves. A studio that promises “number one in a month” chose a query with no competition, for example “Almost Done”. What can be promised: fast loading, a clear structure and clear copy. Promotion is separate work with a separate budget.

Do I need SEO (search engine optimisation)?

You do. There is no “go to the top” button. We looked.

We lay the foundation when building the site: fast loading, a clear structure, proper headings, comfort on a phone. Further promotion is separate work, and nobody guarantees a position in it. If someone promises you first place “by phone”, that call costs more than it seems.

Do you work in my city?

If it has internet, yes. If not, almost.

We work remotely: Dublin, London, New York, anywhere in the world. Meetings are by video call. “We’ll pop round to say hello” isn’t us: we can only pop into the chat.
